Kate Puhala runs Compost Hands Creative from Portland, Oregon. She’s worked as a writer and editorial director on in-house creative teams for a more than a decade. Now, she consults with globally recognized brands, media companies, and early-stage start-ups to help them find their voice.
With a background in journalism, Kate approaches each project with curiosity and attention to detail. She works async or in step with clients internationally.
Kate is no stranger to compost hands. She is a professional gardener, trained arborist, and owner of PNW-based Fasciation Planting & Care. She is also the author of dirtbrow, a gardening style newsletter.
